Abstrak : Patient safety is an effort to reduce unnecessary injuries associated with health care to a minimum acceptable level. The acceptable minimum level refers to current knowledge, available resources and the context in which services are provided, by comparing them to the risk if no action is taken or if other actions are taken. Medicine is a primary therapy composed of chemical substances that are used in the process of diagnosis, for healing or repair and prevention of disease processes and affecting the body's organs biologically. As for the formulation of the problem, there is a relationship between the support of the head of the room and the compliance of the nurse administrators in improving drug safety at the Imelda Indonesian Workers General Hospital in Medan. Which aims to determine the relationship between the support of the head of the room and the compliance of the nurse in improving drug safety. quantitative research with a correlation research design with a cross sectional approach. Health workers are expected to be the nurse in charge and the head of the room so that they must support each other, conduct socialization, evaluate after taking action, so that patient safety and security can be carried out as much as possible.
